The Scope of Services of this prequalification package is for the Historic Interior Wood Door and Frame Conservation, Restoration, and Reinstallation. As part of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, we require a Subcontractor(s) who possesses the skills, experience, and knowledge of Historic Interior Wood Door and Frame Conservation, Restoration, and ReinstallationThis singular prequalification call will be for various packages including, but not limited to, the packages listed bel TP08H - Historic Interior Wood Door and Frame Conservation, Restoration, and Replication Conservation and restoration of historic wood doors and frames. Traditional wood joinery repairs including mortise-and-tenon construction, doweling, Dutchman repairs, and localized wood stabilization. Dismantling, tagging, documentation, packaging, transportation, off-site restoration, and reinstallation of heritage assets. Replication of missing or deteriorated heritage wood components including rails, stiles, mouldings, tracery, carvings, glazing stops, veneers, and decorative profiles. Integration of modern systems into heritage assemblies including acoustic seals, access control, electrified hardware, security upgrades, and door operators. Coordination with heritage consultants, conservators, glazing specialists, and hardware consultants.
