The Purchaser is seeking Proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to complete work for the replacement of Roof Top Unit RTU-3 at the St. Clair College HealthPlex, located at 1001 Grand Avenue West, Chatham, Ontario N7M 5W4.The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Contractor will coordinate crane location and timing with the Purchaser to ensure lifting operation does not conflict with the Purchaser-s operation. Remove existing RTU-3 air unit, disconnect and secure existing gas piping, power and controls wiring. Expose roof areas to enable installation of new roof curb for RTU-3 air unit, unless existing roof curb can be reused. The Preferred Proponent is to ensure work is completed without risking water penetrating inside the building. Review existing VAV system serving RTU-3 and make modifications where required to meet sequence of operation listed on tender drawings. Reconnect gas piping and power to new make-up air units. Upgrade controls as required Provide as-built drawings to consultants once work is completed.The term of the Agreement shall run from the date of award through to the date of substantial completion, which must occur prior to March 31, 2027. Additionally, the Preferred Proponent shall guarantee all work, equipment and materials for one (1) year from substantial completion of the Agreement.
