Over the last 12 months, the HEC Program Office has been developing the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Healthcare Environmental Cleaning (HEC) enterprise-wide solution with three (3) main goals:

1) standardized requirements across DoD medical facilities, 2) alignment with industry standards and improved compliance with all regulatory mandates, and 3) develop consistent, measurable quality performance objectives. There have been four (4) previous industry surveys and special notices conducted during earlier Market Research efforts.
