Invitation to prequalification for in putting our minds together: research & knowledge management strategy, the ministry of health (ministry) committed to clearly communicate its research interests and solicit input from partners by setting an agenda of research priorities. Although primary production of research is not a core function for the ministry, the ministry committed to commission research and evaluation where this is required through ad hoc and multi-year agreements with research centres.

in carrying out its responsibilities, the ministry does, from time to time, utilize outside service providers to provide specialized services. The purpose of this opening of this request for qualifications is to qualify companies or organizations experienced in the following service areas to provide health services policy research.

1. Primary and community care

2. Wait time reduction

3. Seniors care

4. Pharmaceutical services

5. Mental health and addictions

6. Maternal and child health care

7. Cultural safety, diversity and inclusion

8. Population and public health

9. Other related disciplines

based on the review of the rfq responses the province intends to establish a list of qualified suppliers who, on an "as, if and when requested" basis, may be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into contract for provision of the services described in section 4. This list will also be available to the ministry of mental health and addictions.
