Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-08.
THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION AND A SEPARATE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for this acquisition is 75F40123R00003 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 562112 and the Small Business Size Standard is $41.5M. This will be awarded as a Full and Open Competition. Prospective Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments from SAM.gov. The Government reserves the right to award a contract without discussions if the Contracting Officer determines that the initial offer is providing the Best Value and discussions are not necessary.
This is a Single Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Task Order oriented contract providing for Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Labor-Hour type orders. The Period of Performance shall be for an annual Base Period with four (4) one-year Option Periods. The contract shall include a not-to-exceed ceiling amount.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has a requirement for Chemical, Radioactive, Medical Pathological, Device Waste Collection, Minimization and Disposal Services, Dangerous Goods Shipping and Multi-Hazardous Material Inventory Management Services, in multiple buildings and locations throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico.
The Contractor shall provide, either directly or through qualified sub-Contractors, all aspects of a comprehensive, cradle to grave chemical, radiological and medical pathological waste management services for FDA.
