Expression of Interest are invited for Hazardous Waste Disposal (Battery Factory).
The Ministry of Enviroment and Natural Resources of El Salvador-MARN invites national and foreign companies, individually or associated, specialized in the treatment, packaging, transfer and final disposal of hazardous substances, residues and wastes, to express and demonstrate their interest statement, capacity and experience in order to enter to the supplier bank for: "TREATMENT, PACKAGING, TRANSFER, AND FINAL DISPOSAL OF 17, 000 TONS OF LEAD-CONTAMINATED SOILS, 41, 000 TONS OF ASHES AND DAMAGE FROM THE EX-BATTERY FACTORY OF EL SALVADOR, SA DE C.V. "
The project will include the following activities:
a) Social outreach with nearby communities
b) Preparation of facilities for the stabilization and packaging process.
c) Treatment of contaminated materials.
d) Handling of hazardous substances, residues and waste.
e) Decontamination and cleaning of machinery, equipment and infrastructure
f) Decontamination of hazardous substances, residues and waste from raw material.
g) Restitution of removed soil.
h) Dismantling and demolition of contaminated facilities.
i) Packaging and transportation.
j) Final disposal.
