Region: Hawke's Bay Overview: This Request for Tender is the third bridge repairs package being released to open market. Bridge Repair Package 3.3 consists of the below repair work: 1. Ohurakura Road - 126 Elliotts Bridge, approx. RP3818. The scope of works includes installation of a combination of anchored sheet pile walls and mechanically stabilised earth (MSE) walls. Design solution also to feature scour protection. 2. Ohurakura Road - 127 Averys Bridge, approx. RP4911. The scope of works includes installation in a Mechanically Stabilised Earth (MSE) wall, installation of road safety barrier and pavement reinstatement. The focus is to complete works in an environmentally sound, safe and efficient manner in order to minimise disruption to the public. The Contractor will be required to provide multiple crews working on multiple fronts in a coordinated manner to achieve project timeframes. This work is being tendered as Class 1: Prequalified tender under Hastings District Council-s Prequalification and Performance Management for Civil Construction System. This tender has been categorised as Bridge Construction Level A. Only Tenderers, who are prequalified to the above classification level, or higher, may submit a tender for this work.
