the state preservation board (spb) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors with sufficient experience and expertise to replicate 1880-s semi-leaded red brass window hardware from the texas capitol via the lost wax/investment casting process. This work is in conjunction with a comprehensive preservation of the capitol-s exterior windows, to replace missing hardware and provide attic stock for the future.
