BLS will concentrate all major repairs and revisions in the Bönigen workshops at the latest from 2027. This group will allow BLS to carry out this work in a centralized, efficient and judicious exploitation way. This is the reason why the workshops will be transformed and agreed in the years to come. From 2019 to 2027, BLS will build several new buildings in Bönigen. On the existing site will be erected a new workshop for motor bogies and axles, a logistics workshop, a long workshop for trains 105 meters long with painting workshop, an administrative building and a production workshop 2.
