Description

The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Benelux is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for armed guard services in Belgium. The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis.

BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.

Place of Performance: The supported requirement is for the following US Military Installations located in Belgium: United States Army Garrison (USAG) Benelux for Chièvres Air Base, USAG Benelux-Brussels, USAG Benelux-BrusselsSterrebeek Annex (including both the SHAPE Brussels Health Clinic and the Brussels American School) and Zutendaal Army Preposition Stocks (APS-2).

The services of armed guards are requested to secure U.S. Military Installations throughout Belgium. All the guards assigned to this contract will be working for a registered Belgian company licensed by the Belgian Ministry of Interior (BMI) with an authorization to carry weapons. All guards will be licensed with a valid weapons permit, a valid NATO clearance, will speak English, be in possession of a valid European drivers license, and will be physically fit. The services will support the access control of U.S. Military Installations throughout Belgium, to include patrolling the perimeter fence, monitoring and Intrusion Detection System (IDS). The services will be performed only in Belgium at Chievres Air Base, Chievres Daumerie Caseme, Brussels Main, Brussels Sterrebeek Annex, and extends to Zutendaal Army Depot (EDI) (total of 5 sites).
