Purpose Of Procurement Pursuant To The State Purchasing Act (official Code Of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 Et Seq.), This Electronic Request For Proposals (erfp) Is Being Issued To Establish An Agency Contract For One Year With 9-1 Year Options To Renew With A Qualified Supplier Who Will Provide A Digital Preservation System To The Board Of Regents Of The University System Of Georgia By And On Behalf Of Georgia State University (the State Entity) As Further Described In This Erfp. The Georgia State University Library (library) Is Requesting Proposals To Obtain A Cloud-based, Vendor Hosted Digital Preservation System (dps). The Library Manages A Growing Body Of Born-digital And Digitized Content, Including Archival Materials And Institutional Records. These Assets Require A Secure, Standards-compliant Environment That Ensures Their Long-term Integrity, Accessibility, And Authenticity. The Digital Preservation System Will House Its Growing Body Of Digital Assets For A Period Of 10-years. The Goal Of This Project Is To: Identify A Digital Preservation Platform Migrate Data From The Existing Platform Setup And Launch A New Dps For The University
