this project involves fire alarm upgrades, with hazardous material considerations, to the grierson centre located downtown edmonton. Much of the project takes place within an active minimum security institution and/or correctional services offices, and as such, construction activities must:
- be undertaken with continuous monitoring by a csc commissionaire (paid for by owner);
- enable the continuous operation of the facility;
- comply with the rules of the institution.


to assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250, 001 and $500, 000.

it is recommended that the bidder or a representative of the bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site.
