Expression of Interest are invited for Greater Beirut Urban Recovery and Development Strategy
a) Diagnose the key urban recovery and development challenges and needs for Greater Beirut;(b) Facilitate the formulation of a cross-sectoral green; resilient and inclusive Urban Recovery and Development Strategy for Greater Beirut as well as its related Action Plan; based on multi-stakeholder co-creation and consultations ; (c) Provide concrete recommendations to create; institutionalize and sustain a Planning and Coordination Unit (PCU) within the Governorate of Beirut; and(d) Provide technical inputs to concretize a series of pilot projects; with a focus on climate resilience; that can generate quick wins and could be financed by the World Bank and/or other sources.
