Additional Information:
Knowledge of Site Bidders should visit the site and make allowances in their bids for such conditions as in the sole opinion of the bidder are warranted. The RM makes no representation or warranty as to the conditions of the site. Schedule The RM requires the work to be started no later than April 30th, 2024 and substantially complete, in a manner acceptable to the RM by August 31st, 2024. A penalty of up to $500.00 per day will be levied for late completion. This penalty would be based on Council’s discretion. Failure to commence or complete the work within the time stated may result in cancellation of the contract and completion of the work by others. Requirements The Contractor shall apply and pay for all permits required, by authorities having jurisdiction, to carry out the work. The contractor is responsible to ensure all line located have been obtained. The contractor shall, at no cost to the municipality, have adequate insurance on all vehicles used that may be required to perform the work. The contractor is required to have comprehensive general public liability coverage. Proof of liability insurance must be submitted to the RM office prior to work starting.
