Tender Details
Tenders are invited by the R.M. of Mervin No. 499 for the crushing of approximately 25, 000 cubic yards of gravel as follows: SW 26-54-20-W3 25, 000 cubic yards of 1-inch type traffic gravel as per specifications listed in Schedule “A” of the Instruction to Bidders document. Gravel crushing must be completed by June 30, 2024. Gravel will be stockpiled on site. The contractor must crush the product from the area of the pit as shown in the attached picture. Any crushing outside the specified area must be approved by the Municipal Foreman. The R.M. will have the piles measured by a qualified engineer. Tenders must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. CST on April 19, 2024. Each Tender shall include the information contained in the Tender Documents which can be obtained by clicking on the attached document files or by contacting the R.M. of Mervin Office by phone at 306-845-2045 or e-mail at rm499@rmofmervin.com.

Additional Information:
A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the contract is to be provided with the tender. A Performance Bond in the amount of $20, 000.00 is required within 21 days the tender being awarded. The full amount will be returned if project is completed by the specified date. Payment will be made within 30 days of the completion of the final measurement of the piles. Saskatchewan Worker’s Compensation account number and the appropriate clearance letter must be included in the tender package. Crusher must have the capability to crush a minimum of 24-inch sized rock and a minimum jaw of 30 x 42 inches. Bidders must list the jaw size of the crusher they will be using with the list of equipment on the bid document. Potential bidders must familiarize themselves with the extent of the work required, make themselves thoroughly acquainted with all the requirements of this tender, and obtain all information necessary for the preparation of the bid including the location of the pits.
