Tender Details
Invitation to prequalification for amendment #1: amended to correct date by which vendors must submit an objection, to 2:00 p.m. On january 26, 2019.
ministry of attorney general
notice of intent to direct award a contract
notice is hereby given by the ministry of attorney general of its intent to direct award a shared cost agreement contract for the following work/service:
provide graphic recording services to document group process, values, and community learning,
to be carried out by: drawing change consulting inc. 114-4238 albert street burnaby bc.
the term of the contract will be from february 1, 2019 to march 31, 2019 with the option to renew for 1 one-year term.
the total value of this contract will not exceed $15, 000. If the option to renew is exercised, the contract aggregate will not exceed $65, 000.
the ministry of attorney general has chosen not to tender the contemplated contract for the following reason(s):
1. There are few notable experts in this field in canada that meet program requirements of artistic and interpretive skill and possess strong connection to b.c. Indigenous communities, and to our knowledge, drawing change consulting inc is the only vendor with strong connections to indigenous communities in british columbia.
2. The bc responsible and problem gambling program researched vendors through internet search and industry referrals and came up with three vendors to review; the program contacted the three vendors and received a response from only one - the proposed vendor. It is our view that a competitive process would arrive at the same vendor.
vendors wishing to object to this decision should email or fax a letter of objection by 2:00 p.m. On january 26, 2019 to:
