Summary:Gordonsville, VA is soliciting bids for demolition and construction for its park redevelopment project, including the removal of an existing pool and construction of a new pool. This is a federally-funded project using DCR Land and Water Conservation funds. Buy America requirements must be met by the Contractor. The Contractor must conductaffirmative actions to encourage DBE participation per 2 Code of Federal Regulations § 200.321.The project consists of renovating an outdated, non-code compliant, and obsolete community parkand community pool on approximately 4 acres. Install new 5500 square foot pool with 25-meterswim lanes and shallow entry area, and 15, 000 square foot deck area and 1500 square foot bathhouse. Install perimeter parallel and pull in parking to support pool use and access. Grade site andinstall drainage and stormwater quality infrastructure in improved areas.
