Goj-I&E-T-Maintenance Of Countryside Public Paths.
The Department of Natural Environment has a requirement to procure the provision of services for the maintenance (i.e cutting vegetation and insuring drainage is cleared) of countryside public paths in Jersey, Channel Islands.The network of countryside paths under Land Resource Management-s remit is currently around 70km in length. Land Resource Management-s network of paths provides public access to several sites of special interest (SSI), nature reserves and areas of scenic beauty including the north coast path. The network of footpaths must be maintained in an environmentally sensitive manner and must provide public access at all times with full consideration for the safety and health of everyone and everything that uses them. (This may include people of varying ages, abilities and disabilities, cyclists, dogs and horses.)
