CSSD Laundry and Central stores are essential to maintaining healthcare services across the island.
As there are no other facilities on the island that can provide the services delivered from either to allow continued Clinical Acute functions. More... The project consists of the supply, offloading, installation, testing, commissioning, demonstration and training of 1No. new 550kVA Emergency Electricity Generator and associated oil tank, cabling and switch panel to serve the CSSD and Central Laundry at Health and Community Services, Central Laundry, Five Oaks, Jersey. The current Laundry is served via a dedicated 800kVA JEC transformer, which provides a metered non-essential supply. The non-essential main LV intake panel serves the entire building via a number of local MCB distribution boards or separate sub-main cables serving large equipment loads.
