This project involves the replacement and upgrade of five elevators at the RCMP K facility, including new elevator cabins and motors. The upgrades will incorporate high-efficiency regenerative drive elevators, as recommended in the Carbon Neutral Study. These regenerative systems will capture and convert excess mechanical energy into electrical power, improving overall energy efficiency. The new elevators will enhance reliability, safety, and sustainability while aligning with the facility-s carbon reduction goals.
