Global Nature Watch-Geospatial AI Product Development Partner

Global Nature Watch (GNW) is seeking proposals from qualified technology and software development vendors with deep expertise in geospatial software development, geospatial AI, and modern frontend development engineering to support the next phase of GNW product development. This engagement will be structured as a cost reimbursement contract, with work organized around user value milestones that provide shared clarity on priorities, delivery expectations, and spend. Work is expected to begin March 1, 2026 and end March 31, 2027, with possible extensions.
Because GNW priorities and deliverables will evolve over time and we intend to co-design the roadmap with the selected vendor, this RFP defines scope in terms of key areas the vendor will support, governance of delivery (milestones), and expectations.
Areas of Support
Under the scope of work, the selected vendor will support GNW in these key areas: Delivering production-grade geospatial and AI-enabled product capabilities Supporting the transition of priority GFW user workflows to GNW Improving GNW adoption, intelligence quality, and system scalability Help define and support implementation of AI intelligence quality metrics we report transparently, and use to inform the roadmap and provide input to continuous product development Enabling ongoing experimentation alongside core delivery Supporting knowledge transfer and transition to in-house ownership
