Exploits Valley Port Corporation (EVPC) is seeking proposals from qualified geotechnical consultants to undertake a comprehensive geotechnical investigation in support of the Botwood Port Development project in Botwood, NL. The investigation will inform the design and construction of new port infrastructure, including quay walls, breakwaters, terminal yards, and access roads.The scope includes: Borehole drilling and sampling across designated zones In-situ testing and groundwater monitoring Review of geological and bathymetric data Coordination with structural engineers and marine contractors Reporting of factual and interpretative geotechnical dataThe investigation areas are outlined in Appendix A Layout Plan, which includes Concept Options 1, 2A, 3, and the Heavy Haul Road. A sub-bottom profiling report (Appendix B) will be provided at a later date.
