Notice of Intent to Sole Source - GDPSSUnder the authority of RFO 6.103-1(c)(2), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source contract to Axim Geospatial, LLC (Axim) for the Geophysical Data Purchase & Survey Sourcing (GDPSS) program.Purpose: The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) provides timely, relevant, and accurate GEOINT in support of national security. NGA also creates the Earth Gravitational Model (EGM) and other gravity products used in navigation products for the DOD and general use for industry and academia. The Earth Gravitational Model (EGM) contains gravity survey data from all over the world. Acquiring more gravity data, as well as other geophysical data improves this model. NGA is always looking to improve their models with new restriction-free geophysical data.
