The subject of the order is the development of a comprehensive geomechanical expertise assessing the stability of the western and northern slopes, a selected part of the southern slope and the deposits of the "Lubień" Basalt Mine, along with determining the maximum safe operating range. The preparation of technical documentation is intended for approval by the Mining Plant Operations Manager (KRZG). Scope of the order Field works and inventory: Mandatory on-site visit to the mine area "Lubień" basalt. Geological and geomechanical inventory of the slope and assessment of the quality of the rock mass. Analysis of geometric conditions of loss of stability resulting from the system of cracks and discontinuity surfaces. Analysis of archival materials: Overview available geological, geotechnical, mining documentation and archival studies on excavation stability. Laboratory tests: Tests of rock samples (20 samples): uniaxial compressive strength tests (Rc / UCS) with determination Young's modulus (E), Poisson's ratio (ν) and critical strain, as well as indirect tensile tests using the Brazilian method (recommended to provide long rock cores). Tests of dump formations (4 measurement series): direct shear tests in order to determine mechanical and deformation parameters.
