The scope includes the execution of composite boreholes combining Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and rotary core drilling at pre-defined locations along the two tunnel alignments foreseen in the preliminary design. Boreholes shall be distributed to cover tunnel portals, ventilation shafts, emergency exits, and intermediate points at a minimum spacing of 100 meters. Investigations must reach sufficient depth to characterize soils, weathered rock, and intact rock, extending below the tunnel invert elevation at each investigated pointExpected deliverables include a mobilization plan, a geotechnical investigation plan with georeferenced borehole locations, daily borehole logs, individual geological-geotechnical profiles, and a consolidated final technical report in PDF format including shear strength parameter calculations. Editable data files (Excel, KMZ, etc.) are also required.
