PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Generator Replacement project for Perry¿s Victory & International Peace Memorial in Put-In-Bay, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for replacing the existing 150 kW, diesel powered generator with a new generator designed to serve the park housing units and maintenance building complex with transformers, meters and transfer switches. Also, there are some minimal site improvements and site preparation work to be completed, which is to include: removal of some minor vegetation in the area of the work site, remove/reinstall/reconstruct a loose rock retaining wall at the site, grading of the site, etc.SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6423B0004PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500, 000 and $750, 000TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early April 2023 with performance to begin in April 2023. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Ottawa County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: will be addressed in the official solicitationNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238290, and the size standard is $19.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
