Space shall be located 1) in an office, research, technology, or business park that is modern in design with a campus-like atmosphere; OR 2) on an attractively-landscaped site containing one or more modern office buildings that are professional and prestigious in appearance with the surrounding development well-maintained and in consonance with a professional image.
The proposed facility shall not be located in the immediate vicinity of any facilities identified by the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) as “hazardous materials transportation/storage facilities.” Examples of hazardous locations include facilities with potential environmental threats, such as fuel storage areas, gas stations, chemical manufacturing facilities, etc., as well as railroad lines transporting hazardous material.
Proposed facility shall not be located within 1000 feet of a low risk facility. Examples of “low risk facilities” include day care centers, senior centers, schools, hospitals and religious/rehabilitation/social service centers.
