GENERAL PROCUREMENTNOTICE TURKEYRENEWABLE ENERGY INTEGRATION PROJECT (REIP) GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Bank Loan No: 83710-TU CTF Loan No: TF 16958-TR.
The Republic of Turkey has applied forfinancing ("Loan") in the amount of EUR217.6 Million from the World Bank and US$50 Million from the Carbon Trust Fund ("CTF")through the World Bank acting as an implementing agency of the CTF toward the cost ofthe Renewable Energy Integration Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds of the loan to payments for goods (including design, supply and installation), related services to be procured under thisproject.
The project will be implemented by Turkish ElectricityTransmission Corporation (TEIAS). This project will include the following components: Component 1: Upfront development of transmission infrastructure to facilitate faster development ofWPPs.Planned procurements are: Supply and Installation of 380 kV Çan Basin Substation including control, protection and automation system (380/154 kV, 2x250 MVA) Supply and Installation of 380 kV ?zmir Basin Substation including control, protection and automation system (380/154 kV, 2x250 MVA+154/33kV) Supply and Installation of 380 kV Vize BasinSubstation including control, protection and automation system (380/154 kV, 2x250 MVA+154/33kV) Component 2: Smart-grid investments to strengthen grid operation and management in face of higher wind energy generation.Planned procurements are:Supply and Installation of Numerical Protection RelaySupply of Shunt ReactorSupply and Installation ofRTUSupply and Installation of upgrade ofSCADA/EMS system and supply of hardware and softwareOther smart-grid applications Component 3: Lapseki 2-Sutluce 2 380 kV Submarine Power Cable to better inter-connect wind energy locationswith other parts of Turkey. Component 4: Strengthening of Transmission Networks to cater togrowing demand and supply of electricity inTurkey.Planned procurements include transmission facilities and these are:· Four (4) 380 kVSubstations· One (1) 380 kVUnderground Cable· Four (4) 154 kVSubstations· Four (4) 154 kVUnderground CablesProcurement of some of the above contracts has already been initiated under ECSEE-APL6 Project (Yeni Ambarl?(NGCCP) ? Yenibosna Underground Cable, Lapseki 2 ? Sütlüce 2 Submarine Cable, SCADA upgrade).
