In the application phase, the project must also have other domestic funding, and SES production support is applied for at the same time. The content and genre of the film is free, and it can be for any target group. When evaluating the offers, we emphasize e.g. the relevance, experientiality and insight of the content, as well as the authors' vision, professional conditions and resources to implement the project. Yle's software needs and the whole also influence the final choice. Yle is a co-financer of the content. The rights will be negotiated with the customer later, based on Yle's price and legal models. The processing time is approx. 6 weeks, taking into account holidays. If Yle's decision is negative, we will justify the decision to the producer. Offers must be submitted by June 15, 2026.
