Gas pipeline construction and installation contract, Tampere-Kangasala The object of the procurement is the construction and installation contract of the PE315 gas pipeline between Tampere and Kangasala. A more detailed description of the procurement is presented in the procurement documents. Below are the main technical details of the purchase from: − The length of the plastic pipeline is approx. 14.5 km − Plastic pipe size PE315 − The design pressure of the plastic pipe is 8 bar − Special features, among others: the effect of the gas pipeline in use and trafficked streets on work safety and work methods, construction and installation in urban conditions, construction and mining in the vicinity of power lines, installation and earthworks of the necessary cable transfers, underground crossing structures, track and road underpasses The procurement unit supplies the pipe materials. Other the materials are supplied by the contractor. The procurement unit does the detailed design of the pipeline. The contractor is designated as the main contractor, who is responsible for planning and managing the work on the site, site arrangements, communication with landowners and stakeholders with. The contractor also acts as the main executor of the construction site. The contract and site language of the contracted contract is Finnish.
