Description : The Irish Defence Forces (DF) is performing market consultation to assess the viability of going to tender for external garment/textile consultancy services. The consultancy services are for independent garment/textile consultancy to assist the Ordnance clothing and equipment procurement office in overseeing the different stages of procuring Military clothing products from design, through manufacture, to the final acceptance and examination of the finished articles. The information gathered in this market consultation will primarily be used to determine whether the provision of the requested consultancy services can be met, if the program can be realised with the available budget and, therefore, if this program can be carried out in the way it was intended. As the list of requirements will usually not have been completed at this stage, the information of the respondents could lead to adjustments in the functional and/or other requirements.
