NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: THE EASTERN FEDERAL LANDS HIGHWAY DIVISION (EFLHD), OF THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION (FHWA), INTENDS TO PROCURE FROM COMPUTERS & STRUCTURES, INC. (CSI), LOCATED IN WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA, FOR SUPPORT AND SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES FOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN SOFTWARE AND SERVICES. THE CSI BRIDGE DESIGN AND ANALYSIS SOFTWARE IS USED BY THE FEDERAL LANDS HIGHWAY TO DESIGN AND ANALYZE STRUCTURES ON OUR PROJECTS. IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT THE SOFTWARE IS UP TO DATE WITH STANDARDS AND THE DESIGNERS HAVE SUPPORT ON HOW TO USE THE SOFTWARE, IT IS REQUIRED TO KEEP THE SOFTWARE COVERED BY A MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT AGREEMENT.
