Description
Project descriptions for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 24 Detroit Arsenal Innovation (DAI) Annual Plan. This document is just a draft and there is no binding agreement that will result from this announcement. This is for information purposes only.
The Government intends to issue a Request for Prototype Proposals (RPP) for AP 24 under the DAI OTA, W56HZV-23-9-D001. The DAI OTA is currently in process for award between ACC-DTA and the DAI OTA Consortium Administrative Organization, in support of Department of Defense related Research and Development prototype projects. The Government will utilize the DAI OTA to award individual projects that are selected for award from AP24.
The DAI OTA Annual Plan is solicited once per year under the OTA and includes the following year-s projects of interest to the Government. Projects can be funded or unfunded. Each AP24 project description identifies a funding Confidence Level (CL) associated with that project, ranging from CL-1 for high confidence of funding to CL-3 for unknown confidence of funding. All proposals submitted against the Annual Plan will either be awarded with funding, awarded to the electronic basket (if deemed acceptable) or discarded as an unacceptable solution to the project. Proposals in the electronic basket will be available for the Government to award for a period of 3 years from the RPP closing date.
This Special Notice is for informational purposes and to provide industry with draft AP24 project descriptions for review and comment in advance of issuance of the formal RPP. The draft AP project descriptions are provided as Attachment A. A prototype project will not be awarded in response to this announcement. Please provide any comments on the draft AP 24 project descriptions no later than 24 July 2023 by sending an email to: usarmy.detroit.devcom-gvsc.mbx.vra-po@army.mil
