Abstract: The South Central Ambulance Service Foundation Trust (SCAS) estate includes Hubs (Oxford City, Nursling, Cosham, Winchester and Eastleigh), Resource Centres (High Wycombe, Petersfield, Reading, Bracknell), NEPTS (Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services) sites and Standby points.In the more populous areas of the region SCAS operates a hub and spoke model with its hubs and resource centres, where most of the buildings also house PTS vehicles and crews. There are a further 20 PTS-only buildings. To support the service there are some 38 standby points (which are continually changing in reaction to changes in service need).
