Abstract: Birmingham Women-s and Children-s NHS Foundation Trust (the “Authority”) is conducting market engagement in relation to its requirement for a Medical Staff Appraisal and Revalidation Solution.Currently the Trust uses the MAG form for medical staff appraisals and manual processes to record the information. 360 feedback exercises for patients and colleagues are currently done by another company. All the documentation is kept within folders for the Responsible Officer to review when making a Revalidation submission.We support 540 connected doctors to complete appraisals in a timely manner; chase all outstanding appraisals and set up all 360 feedback exercises. There is a live spreadsheet which needs to be kept up to date and prepare the portfolios ready for the Responsible Officer to make a recommendation to the GMC.
