The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) maintains the Royal New Zealand Navy`s Fleet of ships via a sustainment contract that concludes in early 2022. Work has commenced to consider the best manner to support the fleet into the future; this initiative is the Future Maritime Support Construct (FMSC).
The purpose of this RFI is to help NZDF gain insight into Industry`s experience in the support of Naval fleets and build an understanding of the capability available.
The NZDF wishes to meaningfully engage with Industy to co-create the Future Support Model (FSM). The FSM will shape the approach to the market which is indicatively scheduled for issue towards the middle of 2020.
