Supply of fungible material for high -rate brachytherapy treatments in the service of Radiation Oncology of the Hospital of Sant Joan d'Alacant ", respecting the regulations in social, environmental, labor and technological innovation established in national legislation and international agreements.
The University Hospital of Sant Joan d'Alacant, through the service of Radiation Oncology, develops specialized treatments for cancer patients, among which is high rate brachytherapy applied to prostate treatment. This technique requires the use of specific, sterile and only one -use material, such as disposable needles of Transperineal insertion, fundamental for the correct administration of radioactive sources in the prostate tissue.
The need to be satisfied with the conclusion of this contract is to guarantee the continuous and adequate supply of disposable needles specifically designed For high -rate brachytherapy procedures, complying with the technical and health standards that ensure:
The safety of patient and health personnel, avoiding risks of pollution or infections.
The therapeutic efficacy of the procedure, through the use of compatible needles with the equipment available in the center and with the techniques used.
