Description : Traditionally, the Fundraising & Enterprise (F&E) team has been raising revenue income (c.18% of BFI's charitable income) from a combination of business partnerships, philanthropy, trusts, events and commercial deals, to support largely budget-relieving activities for the BFI London Film Festival; our year-round cultural programme; the upkeep of the collections in the BFI National Archive; and our education activities. In 2023 the BFI published an ambitious 10-year strategy Screen Culture 2033 (SC33). The strategy identifies several long-term objectives, all of which are dependent, in different degrees, on additional income, including fundraised and commercial income. This includes plans to grow the BFI's digital platforms, and to make the BFI National Archive the most open collection of its kind in the world.
