Synopsis:
This is a Sources Sought notice for market research and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals and does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The U.S. Army Garrison Devens RFTA is seeking to identify qualified and experienced businesses capable of performing a full window replacement at Building 674, Devens, MA.
Based on responses to this notice, the Government will determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, including whether a small business set-aside is feasible. The anticipated acquisition will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.
Project Description:
The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove and replace all existing windows in Building 674. The project includes the furnishing and installation of approximately 282 new vinyl, single-hung, dual-pane, low-E insulated replacement windows, along with all associated flashing, sealant, and trim work. Work must be performed in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), project diagrams, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1).
