Introduced by the IESO in 2011, Save on Energy is the IESO's brand for energy-efficiency programs in Ontario. Through Save on Energy, the IESO offers Ontario residents and businesses programs, incentives and resources ("Programs") to manage their electricity use and reduce their electricity costs. These Programs support the IESO in its efforts to ensure a reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity grid.As electricity demand is expected to grow rapidly in the coming decades, energy efficiency and demand-side management (DSM) will continue to be important resources in Ontario and the IESO will continue to lead the way in energy-efficiency programming through a $10.9 billion, 12-year funding commitment from the Ontario government.Through this RFP, the IESO is seeking a full-service marketing agency to build continued awareness of its Save on Energy brand, communicate the benefits of energy efficiency, and promote participation in existing, new, and expanded Programs.
