The elevating systems are in serviceable operating condition. However it has exceeded the end of its reliable service life and there are reports that it is becoming difficult to maintain due to part obsolescence. Given the quality of the equipment, decreased reliability based on its type and vintage and reduced availability of elevator components, we estimate that a major modernization will be required within the next few years.
