The security is released in one go after final receipt of the contract. The security must be provided within 30 calendar days following the conclusion of the contract. Proof of its constitution must be sent to the address of the Contracting Authority. In the event of failure to provide security within the allotted time frame, the provisions of article 29 of the Royal Decree of January 14, 2013 may be applied. The request from the successful bidder to proceed with acceptance takes the place of a request for release of the security if a joint agreement is established with the project owner.
