Services Medical radiation physics - Radiology Services Medical radiation physics - Nuclear medicine Services Physical inspection Personal dosimetry services The assignment includes the provision of services in medical radiation physics, physical control and personal dosimetry. The tasks to be performed are as determined in the applicable regulations, in particular: •the Royal Decree of 20 July 2001 containing general regulations on the protection of the population, employees and the environment against the danger of ionizing radiation (ARBIS), in particular the provisions regarding physical control (art. 23 et seq.) and dosimetric supervision of employees; •the Royal Decree of February 13, 2020 regarding medical exposures and exposures during non-medical imaging with medical radiological equipment, in particular the provisions regarding the tasks and responsibilities of the recognized expert in medical radiation physics; •the decisions taken to implement them and technical regulations of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Control (FANC), including those relating to the quality control of medical-radiological equipment and the recognition criteria for experts and institutions.
