Description : The framework is for supplier(s) to supply treatment facilities for the acceptance of separately collected green waste to be processed, with the exception of lot three which is for mixed food and green waste. The Service Provider will receive and accept material as stated within this Specification and will therefore:Provide a composting site(s) and/or transfer station(s) (primary disposal point) where compostable material consisting of garden waste and municipal green waste collected by the Council can deliver the collected waste.Transfer the compostable waste from a transfer station to a central composting site, if required. Compost the compostable waste and produce a reusable product in accordance with applicable regulations and best practice.Sell or otherwise utilise the resultant product such that there is a benefit to agriculture. Provide a composting site(s) and/or transfer station(s) where compostable material consisting of garden waste and municipal green waste can be delivered by vehicles as designated by the Council.
