Background Bygland municipality needs to establish a new framework agreement for plowing and spreading on Byglandsfjord and in adjacent hamlets, as the existing agreement expires. The purpose is to ensure the necessary accessibility and traffic safety on municipal roads and in the hamlet areas throughout the winter months. The acquisition will cover the municipality's need for emergency preparedness and rapid emergency response in the event of snowfall and slippery conditions. Calls are triggered by the municipal guard, and the supplier must be able to support the municipality in maintaining stable winter operation services in relevant areas. Description of the assignment The assignment concerns winter operations in the form of plowing and spreading on Byglandsfjord and in adjacent hamlets. The delivery includes plowing of municipal roads and relevant branch roads, as well as spreading when necessary when road conditions dictate this.
