The framework agreement covers both planned time-controlled as well as preventive and emergency remedial maintenance. The municipality has other framework agreements with resources in construction and construction management who are involved in the operation and maintenance work to varying extents. The municipality's the objective is that the framework contracted contractors should be well acquainted with facility maintenance and have solid experience in the technical areas relevant to the assignment. The framework contracted contractors are expected to be proactive and come up with their own proposals long-term sustainable and economically favorable solutions. The municipality's expectations are a well-functioning collaboration between the client/construction management, designer and framework contracted contractors, where the projects are often carried out as a team effort. Planned scheduled maintenance is carried out according to a five-year plan where the objects are prioritized, among other things, according to age, function/damage and other work that may affect, for example, the accessibility of the site. In general, a building document is compiled with an associated bill of quantities for the various the timed objects. Preventive and emergency remedial maintenance can be carried out following, for example, cases from citizens, damage identified during inspection or officials' own observations. The contractor is expected to report weekly on the past the work carried out for the week and the work planned for the coming week.
