Framework agreement for flame retardant textiles and mattresses The contracting authority for the procurement is the Directorate for Children, Youth and Families (Bufdir). Bufdir heads Bufetat, which is organized in five regions and is responsible for operations and services related to child protection, including child welfare institutions, care centers for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers and centers for parents and children. In order to meet the needs of the residents and staff, institutions and centers must be furnished. For Bufetat, there is a documented need for it to be furnished with flame-retardant textiles and fittings. There is a significant number of fires at the institutions and centres, with most occurring in the residents' rooms. Based on this, there is a need to be able to buy mattresses, furnishing textiles and curtains in flame retardant quality. Flame-retardant quality of textiles and mattresses will reduce the extent of damage in the event of a fire. The products the framework agreements must cover per subcontract: * Subcontract 1: Flame-retardant curtains * Subcontract 2: Mattresses in flame-retardant textile * Sub-contract 3: Flame-retardant bedding and textiles A complete description of the delivery follows from the requirements specification. Estimated value for the entire acquisition is NOK 12, 000, 000 excl. VAT The maximum value of the acquisition is NOK 18, 000, 000, excl.
