There are currently around 60, 000 street trees in the city of Antwerp, and a multiple of them in parks and green areas. The city wants a safe and well -maintained tree stock. Within the green service, it has a number of employees who are responsible for guidance pruning and simple Velwerken. In addition, the green service has a professional tree team with trained tree carers and European Tree Workers (ETW students). Given the size of the tree stock, the city wants to be able to count on external tree carers for the implementation of expert pruning and velwerk, in addition to the Tree management works carried out by own services. The assignment is divided into 3 plots: plot 1: (form) pruning trees to perform regular cyclical pruning such as the pruning or shaving of shape trees. For these works, solid professional knowledge and experience are required in terms of form pruning. Stake Certified tree carers are not required. Plot 2: Specialized rimworks, maintenance pruning and overdue pruning; Performing veling works, maintenance pruning and overdue pruning. The works are or without a platform or climbing depending on the local situation. For these works, expert tree carers are required with demonstrable education, experience and expertise.
