Framework agreement - Methanol fuel cell units with accessories NVE is responsible for monitoring and mapping unstable mountain areas in Norway. Today there are 10 unstable mountain areas with high risk that are continuously monitored by NVE. The most common measurement methods are GPS and total station, ground-based radar system as well as laser and tension rod. In addition, different camera systems and communication via radio are used. The installations are often located inaccessible, with customized power supplies based on needs. Many of these the power supplies are hybrid solutions with batteries, solar cells, wind turbines and methanol fuel cells. These are designed based on power demand, availability, solar radiation, etc. As of today, NVE has approx. 35 units in operation, but the number varies according to need. NVE now wishes to enter into a framework agreement for deliveries of methanol fuel cell units with accessories (methanol and fuel manager).
