The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to award a commercial, sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.103-1 to GENERAL DISTRIBUTING CO. 430 17TH AVE NE, GREAT FALLS MT 59404. The company shall deliver various medical gases bi-weekly at a minimum to include Liquid Nitrogen, and Oxygen Compressed at Fort Peck Service Unit, Poplar and Wolf Point, MT. GENERAL DISTRIBUTING CO is the only source of the services in the area. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and is based upon market research
This is not a request for competitive proposal and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification within 7 days of the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is within the discretion of the Government.
